This is a narrative video as it shows the character in the video reflecting on his relationship and how it all ended. The use of waves in the sea also reflects where the lyrics say "wave after wave" and "slowly drifting" can link to a relationship drifting apart - which links to point 3 of Goodwin's theory.
Clean Bandit - "RATHER BE"
This video is a cross between a narrative and performance video. This is because it follows the day of the character which links to the narrative. There is lip syncing and different settings throughout the video following the vocalist. For the performance link, there is people dancing in time with the music at the "no no no" all on the one beach and is all sync with each other. This can link to point 2 and 3 of Goodwin's theory.
Bruno Mars - "JUST THE WAY YOU ARE"
The video by Bruno Mars is a performance video between Bruno and another female character. The artist lip syncs in some parts of the video aswell as the video being in one setting in the video. There is also a creative element with the words and images being made with tape using the musical knowledge and the different ways to interact and represent the feelings and emotions of the lyrics. This links with point 2 and 4 of Goodwin's theory.
